Packages

Three levels of installation, each quoted against your room.

Projector and screen

Contact for price

A large picture in a room you already use, keeping whatever audio you have. This is the most direct upgrade available and normally takes a single day to fit.

  • Projector selected for how much light the room gets
  • Fixed-frame or motorised screen, sized to the room
  • Ceiling or wall mount with concealed cabling
  • Picture aligned, focused and set up on site

Best for: bedrooms, living rooms, and anyone who wants to see whether a big picture suits them before committing to a full system.

Basic home theatre

Picture and surround sound supplied together and calibrated as one system. Buying the parts together is what makes the difference. The receiver is matched to the speakers, and the calibration is run once everything is in place. This is our most requested package.

  • Projector and screen, or a large TV
  • 5.1 speakers with a subwoofer
  • AV receiver matched to the speakers
  • Concealed cabling wherever the structure allows
  • Sound calibrated for the room and checked by ear
  • Single remote for the complete system

Best for: living rooms and family spaces that get used every evening. Typically one to two days on site.

Dedicated cinema room

A separate room designed and built for watching. Everything in the basic package plus the construction work that lets the system perform properly: treated surfaces, controlled light, and speaker positions chosen by measurement.

  • Acoustic panels and bass traps
  • Up to 11 channels including height speakers
  • In-wall and in-ceiling speakers finished flush
  • Soundproofing, door seals and wall build-up
  • Light control, star ceiling and tiered seating
  • 3D design approved before work begins
  • Full calibration on handover

Best for: a spare room, a basement, or a room planned in during construction. Typically one to three weeks depending on carpentry and wiring.

Costing

What changes the price

Six things move the figure more than anything else. Knowing them in advance makes the quotation easier to read.

  1. 1

    When you call us

The single largest factor. Wiring and ceiling speaker positions planned before plastering cost a fraction of cutting into a finished concrete slab afterwards. If the property is under construction, this is the time to call.

  2. 2

    Room size

Room width decides how many speakers can be installed usefully. A wider room takes more speakers and a larger screen, and both raise the figure. We will not quote for speakers a room cannot use.

  3. 3

    Ambient light

A room with large windows and daytime use needs a much brighter projector, or a television instead. This is the most common reason a quote comes back higher than expected.

  4. 4

    Brand selection

The same speaker layout can be built at several price levels. We will show you options at more than one level and explain what the difference actually buys.

  5. 5

    Construction and finishing

Acoustic panels, fabric, false ceiling, riser carpentry, lighting circuits and seating. On a dedicated room this can be a substantial share of the total, and it is itemised separately so you can see it.

  6. 6

    Distance from Kollam

Site visits are free in and around Kollam. For installations farther afield across India, a travel charge may apply, always confirmed before the visit is arranged.

Any of the three can be set up for a console or gaming PC. Tell us at the site visit, because it changes which projector or screen we recommend and which cable we use. It costs far less to plan for it upfront than to correct it later.

Questions

About quotations

If something here is unclear, call the showroom and ask.

Why are prices not published?

Because a published figure would be wrong for most rooms. Ceiling speakers fitted into an existing concrete slab cost significantly more than the same speakers planned before the false ceiling goes in. Room size changes the channel count. Brand choice changes everything again.

A price range wide enough to be accurate would be too wide to be useful. Contact us with your room dimensions and you get an itemised figure instead.

What does the quotation include?

A speaker layout for your specific room, an itemised equipment list with a price against each line, the installation labour, and any construction or finishing work. In writing, so you can compare it properly against another quotation.

Is a deposit taken at the site visit?

No. Nothing is ordered and no deposit is taken until you have seen the design and approved the quotation. Taking the quotation away to think about is completely normal.

Can I supply my own equipment?

Yes. We will install and calibrate equipment you have bought elsewhere, and quote for the labour separately. We will also tell you if something you already own is not suited to the room, before we fit it.

Can the work be done in stages?

Often, yes. A common approach is projector and screen first, then surround sound later. If you tell us at the design stage that this is the plan, we will run the cabling for the full system at the start so the second phase does not mean opening walls again.

Do you work with interior designers and builders?

Regularly. If you have an architect or interior designer on the project, put us in touch early. Speaker positions, conduit routes and ceiling details are much easier to agree on a drawing than on site.
